The "5th Blockchain International Standard Workshop" with the theme "Evolution of Distributed Ledger" is scheduled to be held on September 22nd, both online via Zoom and at the Fiber Center 17th-floor seminar room. The event will feature presentations on various topics, including ISO TC307 standardization trends, significance and impact of DLT reference architecture standards, DLT governance issues and international standardization trends, DLT auditing, digital currency collaboration within ISO TC307 and TC68 (Financial Services), blockchain platforms and Ethereum 2.0, electronic transferable record utilization under UNCITRAL model law, and discussions on societal impacts of distributed ledger technology implementation. The workshop is supported by organizations such as KAIT (Korea Association for ICT Promotion) and KIAT (Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology) and will provide insights into blockchain standardization and its implications.
